The Shelbourne Apartments were created in 2009 by Norman, Nigel & Pat Ball from the Shelbourne Hotel. The Hotel was well-known in Southport from the 1980s for providing friendly and unique accommodation and service. Visitors would remember pets including cats Huge Henry and Corky (a frequent visitor to Morrisons) and dogs Jason, Fred and Barney the Wolfhound.
The Shelbourne Hotel also boasted a large Function Suite (which is now Apartment 5) where many a wedding and christening were held. Plenty of happy and cherished memories!
Since then they have been run as 9 fully furnished Holiday Apartments by son-in-law David & daughter Melanie Clarke.
We still aim to provide unique accommodation, where you can relax and feel at home. We also allow pets (on request please).
